FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are hourly rates based on wheels-up to wheels-down time?
Hourly rates are based on when the plane engine starts and when it shuts down.
Can I bring a normal amount of luggage, or do I have to pack very tightly?
The planes can accommodate approximately 200 lbs of luggage. That equates to four sets of golf clubs and four pieces of overnight-type luggage.
Will you arrange for ground transportation to meetings or lodging when I am at my destination?
Yes, we will arrange for ground transportation. Passengers usually use one of three types of ground transportation — Limousine, car rental or taxi. We are also happy to make overnight accommodations if necessary.
Do the hourly rates of each plane include fuel, surcharges if any, food, and other things?
The hourly rate covers the plane, pilot, fuel and basic catering. The cost of fuel is subject to change at any given time. An additional fuel surcharge may be added if the cost of fuel increases beyond what was estimated for the trip. There may also be a landing fee that is charged by some airports. Special catering packages are available for additional costs. Your Flagship Private Air representative will be able to outline and explain any additional costs in detail.
How many pilots does it take to fly each plane?
The Piaggio Avanti P-180 requires two pilots, while the Beechcraft King Air C90 and the Socata TBM 700 are rated for single pilot service. However, a co-pilot is always available upon request. The additional fee for a second pilot is $300.00 per day.
Will I return on the same plane that took me to my destination?
Yes, the plane will stay with you if you book a round trip flight or have multiple stops over several days. It is possible you may not return on the same plane if you book a trip and stay for an extended period of time before returning to your original destination.
